Our shop is named after our cherished first daughter, Margot, whose stillbirth at 40 weeks in August 2021 profoundly shaped our lives and inspired our stillbirth memorial story.

In August 2021, we faced the heartbreaking news that our beautiful daughter, Margot, had passed away just two days before her birth. Margot entered the world on August 15, 2021, weighing 4lb 12oz.

We had the precious opportunity to hold Margot physically for just one day before she was taken from us. The yearning to feel her weight in our arms again became an overwhelming desire, a longing that truly birthed MargotLoves. We created a single weighted teddy, meticulously matched to Margot's birth weight, allowing us to close our eyes and experience that profound sense of holding her once more. This simple act provided immense comfort, and from this deeply personal experience, we realized we could extend this unique solace to other parents.
